Packaging: To insure the freshness and
quality of our fine dessert products; they are all flash frozen, and
carefully packaged in sturdy corrugated boxes. Cakes and tarts are packed
in styrofoam shippers with dry ice and/or gel packs. Dry ice usually
evaporates within 12 hours. Upon arrival the products will still be
semi-frozen and can be refrozen or refrigerated (See Storing Information).
Cookies, and Madeleines are securely packed in shipping boxes without dry
ice.
Gift Packaging: For an elegant presentation,
your gift can be packaged in our attractive gold gift box with ribbon and
bow for an additional $3.50 per gift.* Your personalized message will be
included on a gift card. *All Birthday cakes come packaged in gift boxes
at no additional charge. Your brief personalized gift message will be
included. We guarantee that your order will arrive in perfect condition.
Shipping: We ship Monday through Wednesday, via
Federal Express, for arrival in 2 days. Orders received on Thursday or
Friday will be shipped the following Monday. Overnight and Saturday
delivery is available for an additional charge; Sunday and Monday delivery
is not available. In the warmer months, from May 1st - Sept. 30th, all
cakes and tarts must be shipped overnight. You can place orders in advance
for future delivery dates; simply indicate your desired delivery date on
the order form. Your order will be delivered on or just before that date.
You will not be charged until the product is shipped. No deliveries can be
made to PO Boxes and APO locations. Deliveries outside of the United
States are not possible at this time.
We cannot be responsible
for, nor will credit be issued for, orders received with incorrect
addresses. Keep in mind that these are perishable products. Any specific
delivery instructions should be noted in the comments box of the order
form. It is very important to include the recipientís phone number to aid
Federal Express in finding the address. Please make sure that someone will
be home. Packages will be delivered even if there is no one to sign for
it. No credit will be issued if recipient does not find the package on the
delivery date.
Thanksgiving and Christmas: To
guarantee that your orders are delivered before each holiday we must
receive your order by November 15th for Thanksgiving orders, and by
December 13th for Christmas orders. Orders received after those dates will
be filled as quickly as possible but holiday delivery is not guaranteed.
